2010
In the following years , Mabel launched a policy of
differentiation of production, expanding the portfolio of its lines to the medical sector and label making, until anticipating future trends by placing on the market, starting in 2010 , products made through the upcycling of juice industry waste.
1978
Mabel was founded by two entrepreneurs from Prato in 1978, with the aim of producing coagulated bases for later use by coating synthetic products onto them ,for use in the footwear industry.
The company, given the strong development of the industry, grew in the late 1980s and the beginning of the following decade by adding coating, gravure printing and hot embossing lines to its facilities in order to provide a wide range of products for different customer needs.
2021
In fact, Mabel was the first to imagine a sustainable future for coagulated fabrics: the use of up to 50 percent natural raw material, instead of fossil derivatives, makes our production an excellence, used by international brands that pay special attention to environmental protection and the reduction of polluting emissions.
